Agombar’s skilful characterisation and evocative prose transports readers into a realm of darkness and uncertainty. ‘Shetani’ showcases Agombar’s ability to create a haunting atmosphere, morally complex characters, and an unrelenting sense of foreboding. With a contrasting perspective, his essays reveal his ability to evoke wonder and curiosity. This blend of storytelling and observation allows readers to experience the joys and complexities of travel through his discerning eyes.
